February's meeting will explore “The Changing Face of the Workforce - Understanding Gen Y” for Women Leaders in IT through interactive discussion. We will provide insight into how generational differences contribute to other business issues we may be facing. Current Issues in Investor Relations and Financial Communications

Where are Canadian equity markets going? What are the implications for currently listed companies? How do small-mid capitalization companies attract analyst coverage? There are always lots of issues to consider for CFOs of public companies or those considering an IPO.

Returning to the YTA’s CFO peer group is Philip Koven, head of the Toronto-based investor relations consulting practice for Bryan Mills Iradesso (www.bmir.com). Philip provides strategic IR counsel to publicly traded companies across a wide range of industries. With 17 years as an analyst in the Canadian capital markets, Philip brings a wealth of hands-on experience to the practice of Investor Relations. He is actively involved in the design and implementation of all communications programs including management presentations, annual and quarterly reports, annual meetings, M&A, financial crises, news releases and analyst and broker programs. Philip has been a featured speaker at The Directors College, a comprehensive professional development and certification program for corporate directors, and at the Richard Ivey School of Business' "Strategic Management of Investor Relations" program.
